Founded November 1, 2000 to serve the County of Los Angeles, the POWER Collaborative Network (PCN) is a cluster of human resource providers & community outreach socioeconomic development specialists. Guided by the spirit & intent of the Workforce Investment Act, the PCN works to deliver more efficiently & effectively essential life needs, thus, the acronym POWER means Promoting Opportunities With Essential Resources.
The PCN members obtain useful socioeconomic data & innovative developments in human services via monthly meetings, at various member locations. The PCN employs face-to-face agenda topics covering discussions on job recruitment, funding, training, & other related human need interests. In addition, PCN members use the Internet as a collaborative learning tool by regularly sharing essential resources and opportunities with colleagues and the community at-large.
The POWER COLLABORATIVE NETWORK meetings are produced and managed by the SOUTHLAND PARTNERSHIP CORPORATION [a nonprofit, 501 (c) (3) organization]. For job/training opportunities visit www.IStartOnMonday.com
